I had a great birthday! We went down to San Diego to walk around Horton Plaza, the Harbor and to go to the game. It was a really beautiful day! For my birthday dinner we ended up eating at Anthony's on the water.. it was SO HORRIBLE!! oh my gosh! I felt so bad because it was relatively expensive- but really it was so terrible, I don't recommend it! (I have to warn everybody!)
Out of the whole day my favorite part was definitely going to the Padres' game. Even though Trevor Hoffman blew it in the 9th inning, it still was a really great game and experience. Reese's first Padre game! Let me tell you, the $7 tickets in the picnic area is just perfect for little ones. They can crawl and play all they want, it really is so great. I think she had a lot of fun. Kurt and I certainly did!
Oh my gosh, there were SO many goobers at the game though! First there was this guy dressed as a friar and he kept dancing and flapping his arms around- so annoying! Then there was this boy who was walking around in a banana outfit?! Then these people came over to sit on the grass and literally sat inches from us and kept staring at the baby... crazy weirdo people! Other than those goobers it still was a really great night, thanks Kurty!
And to top off a great night I found a yoohoo at the 7-eleven...perfect.
