sorry for the complete lack of pictures...

Christmas was really fun. We were fortunate enough to go {fly!} and visit my folks in Southern California, during the Rain-Fest 2010.  This is the first year were Reese really knew what was going on- we could explain Baby Jesus, Santa Claus, reindeer, presents, being good {and not naughty}. Appropriately, the one song she learned most of, and still sings, is "Santa Claus is coming to town".

Christmas morning, Reese was in shock at all the presents. She stood there for at least two minutes completely still and speechless. It was pretty funny.

However, now when she's feeling like she wants more presents, she comes up to me, and tells me that "it's Baby Jesus' Birthday tomorrow. "  Needless to say, it doesn't work, and over and over again I have to explain that Jesus only has one birthday.. and we still have 11 months to go.. After that is explained, the then proceeds to go through everyone's birthday and asks if it's tomorrow.

When we got home, Kurt's parents were already here in Utah visiting family, so we got a mini second Christmas when we got home. It was fabulous!

Thank you to all our family and wonderful neighbors for all that you do for us. I've never been in a ward where there were so many baked goods delivered to our doorstep. YUM!!!!
