Pre-Easter Morning

Last minute we decided to go check out the free Easter egg hunt at the Shops at Riverwoods. They promised lots of eggs and fun games.

We got there just in time to hear the countdown to the egg hunt. As Kurt put it:
"You dropped us off in the big kid section and as we were walking towards the younger kids part we had to pass a ton of eggs. And then the countdown started and the big kids came running towards us. Luckily there were some eggs right next to us, but the kids didn't want to pick them up. We did get a few (3 in total) and it was over with in like 10 seconds."

So it was kind of a bust, PLUS there were promised 'games' but we didn't see anything happen so we decided to catch a quick pic with the Easter bunny (well, Everett did) and grab some Awful Waffle (a good crepe place in Provo, right south of campus by the duck pond). Those were pretty delicious.. we both agreed that the crepes needed to be "at least.... three times bigger than this".

So here are the pictures from the Riverwoods bust:

{notice our grumpy daughter, it was either the lack of eggs, my huge build up turned into a great let down, or she was really REALLY afraid of the Easter bunny}

this one cracks me up, it looks like he's trying to push it up the bunny's nose, when in reality he was telling and showing the bunny what he found.

It's just not right for an Easter Bunny to be sitting in Santa's chair. I'd be mad, too.
